At Supino, the menu is a treasure trove of culinary delights, showcasing a variety of pizza options that cater to every palate. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Margherita (US$17.00) topped with fresh mozzarella and fragrant basil or feeling adventurous with the Funghi (US$18.00) - a delightful blend of earthy mushrooms, smoked gouda, and fresh herbs, every bite is a celebration of flavor. Don't miss out on their signature Supino pizza (US$15.00), featuring red sauce, roasted garlic, and ricotta, which has been raved about by patrons for its mouthwatering taste.

If you’re visiting with friends or family, consider starting off your meal with Shonda's Cheese Bread (US$10.00) or their irresistible Marinated Olives (US$5.00) - both perfect for sharing and setting the stage for the main event. Customers have consistently praised the crust for its perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness, reminiscent of the finest pizzerias in New York. As one enthusiastic diner, Tom Hedge, commented, “the thin crust pizza is… easily foldable, a little grease dripping from each slice.”

The drinks menu complements the food beautifully, featuring rotating craft beers on tap that perfectly pair with your pizza. Enjoy a refreshing Bloody Mary, which rumor has it, may come with a unique twist using a dash of pizza sauce that adds a surprising, delightful flavor.

Cool place... in both atmosphere & temperature - it's 90° outside and a perfect cool temperature inside. Thin crust pizza that's "close" to NY pizza... nothing fully compares to actual NY thin crust, easily foldable, a little grease dripping from each slice pizza. Service at the bar counter by Q was exceptional- got a beer taster within minutes, a full pour immediately after, and my pizza slice arrived within 5 minutes. It looked like they have a good selection of both wine and alcohol/mixers. A perfect stop after getting hungry walking around the Eastern Market on a Saturday.

My company ordered out for pizza from Supino during an off-site meeting. The pizza was ready fairly quickly, and it was very good. There were several different flavors to choose from, and they were all thin crust. It seemed more like New York style pizza to me, but was nice and chewy without being overly so. I really liked the funghi pizza with all of the mushrooms. This is definitely a good place to order pizza from if you’re nearby.

Really loved this place! The thin, crispy crust and fantastic dough make the pizzas stand out. I had the Zupino’s pizza (the waitress’ favorite too) and it was excellent. Staff were super nice and welcoming. I came by in the afternoon during the week, so it was quiet and easy to get a seat. Bonus: great beer on draft. Highly recommend!

Love the new vibe. Understated, young and totally welcoming. The pizza is awesome, the location is excellent and the view of downtown Detroit is fabulous as it has always been. However, what sets it apart now is how the young staff (some appear not old enough to hold a job) work quietly, effectively and seamlessly together. Together they tend to your every need, may it be a chair to sit while waiting or to clean up a slice of pizza that slipped out of your hand. They even remember you after a long while not showing up.

I've been chasing the high of the best pizza I've ever had (actually from Italy) for a long time. Im here to say Supinos was quite literally the closest I've come to the real authentic pie and was. So. Freaking. Good. We ordered a whole pizza and also 2 extra slices of their special because we had no self control after we got a taste. We were full but I know we could've made space for more. A regret I'll have to live with until I'm able to return. We will talk about this pizza for a lifetime.

I enjoyed everything I ate here. Vibe is great, they were playing some gentle background lofi music that really helped my digestive system. Got a Bloody Mary and have unconfirmed reports that the trade secret is a dash of pizza sauce which would not only make sense but be perfectly suitable for the drink. I loved it. I’ll be back again, and the pizza was good, probably like a 9/10 Stop in if you want, or don’t. truthfully I don’t care

I wish it were possible to give more stars to this wonderful restaurant!! The service ... from hostess to waitstaff to those bussing tables ... was exceptional. All those we met were friendly, upbeat, helpful, and conversational individuals. We didn't even realize at the time we went that we were so close to their closing time since we had looked up the hours and had seen the hours for the other location. Not a single person working there gave the "I can't wait to get out of here for the night." vibe that you, all too often, receive when you're within even an hour of their closing time. Instead we were greeted, seated, and served by truly enthusiastic, wonderfully charming people who obviously love where they work. The restaurant itself is set in a great location across from the Eastern Market with a great view of the city. It is very nicely decorated, and very, very clean. The bathrooms were immaculate ... I can't think of the last time I've been in a restaurant with such a perfectly clean and well appointed restroom ... and the handsoap smelled fantastic! The food was incredibly good ... we started off with the rucola salad which is supposed to come with a labne dressing that we substituted with their lemon citronette instead ... it was divine! Then we had an order of their polpette (meatballs) which were tender, flavorful, and served with an absolutely delicious house made marinara sauce, coated with a healthy dose of freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano, and served with perfectly made ciabatta bread. Shonda's cheese bread was the perfect accompaniment. A beautiful perfectly thin yet still foldable pizza dough covered in mozzarella, provolone, and gouda cheese .... the stuff of dreams .... particularly when it's topped with some of the rucola salad! The meal ended with a spectacular cannoli with chopped pistachios. Truly a wonderful meal and my husband and I are tough to please with Italian food..... my hubby spent his first 41 years as a Jersey boy surrounded by the best Italian food to choose from (in Jersey and NYC) this side of the Atlantic and I'm terribly picky by nature but even more so with Italian food because of all the years going to NJ and NYC and also because I'm Italian and my kitchen, my mom's kitchen, and my sister's kitchen are the only places I normally think that get the food right! So, to say we liked the food would be a compliment .... but we actually LOVED the food, which just doesn't happen around here! Everything Supino's did was perfect and we'll be making the hour+ drive to this charming restaurant often for the food and hospitality! Special praise to our waitress, Jordan, for the excellent service and for making us feel so welcome! ⭐⭐Update 3 weeks later-Supino's is still excellent! The service and food are exceptional! No photos taken this 2nd time there because I've been thinking about that rucola salad ever since and didn't want to wait an extra second to eat it! We were blessed to have Jordan as our waitress again and she was just as much of a rockstar today as previously! If you haven't been here yet .... do you hate yourself? Show yourself a little love and treat yourself to a great meal at a great price with terrific service .... you deserve it and this is just the place to find all that and more!! Update 7/11/2025-Supino's continues to shine! When I asked my husband where he'd liked to go for his birthday dinner there wasn't even a second's hesitation .... SUPINO'S! We arrived to our new favorite place and were, as always, greeted by a happy and friendly staff member who helped bus a table for us in a perfect corner spot by the windows. Our waitress, Hannah, arrived with a big smile and was friendly and attentive to us and all the surrounding tables on this busy evening all while treating every person she waited on with an excellent level of professionalism and her really fun, upbeat personality. The food was beyond excellent, as always!! You have to try this place!! I wish that I could write more but this is Google's review word limit!

Took my son for a stay in Detroit to see the fireworks. He heard radio personality Jay Towers say Supino's Eastern Market was his favorite pizza and he wanted to go. I can see why. Pizza and cheese bread was so good. The service and atmosphere was just as good as the reviews I read. The place was clean, bathrooms clean and a nice amount of parking. Can't wait to go back.
